Tony Calandra; Group President
Karl A. (Tony) Calandra, is Group President of Frank Calandra Inc. and Calandra Group, LLC. The group of companies include JENNMAR, JLOK, JENNCHEM, JM Steel, JENNMAR Civil, JM Conveyors, JM Sanshell, JENNMAR Specialty, JM McSweeney, Tungstemet, JENNMAR Construction Tools and JENNMAR Services. Tony has 17 years in the industry and joined the group of companies in 2002. Prior to joining FCI/Calandra Group, he was a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young. Tony graduated from Bucknell University and received his MBA from Waynesburg College in 2009.
Tony is on the board of National Mining Association and PENNSYLVANIA Coal Association. He is also on the board of Rocbolt Technologies South Africa, Rocbolt Technologies Jining, and Rocbolt Resins Australia. He is also Chairman of the Board of JENNMAR Australia.
Michael Calandra; Executive Vice President
Michael Calandra is Executive Vice President of Frank Calandra Inc, and its subsidiaries. He is also President of Marjenn Trucking. He sits on the Board of Directors for Frank Calandra, Inc., JENNMAR, JENNCHEM and JENNMAR Australia. Michael graduated from St. Francis University in 1984 with a BS in Business.
Paul Calandra; Vice President
Paul Calandra is Vice President of Frank Calandra, Inc. Paul earned his degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics, in 1980. Completed additional certificate training in business management and human resources through Bill Nelson and Associates in 1982. Paul's Professional Affiliations include: the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, Inc.; the Regional Bank Board of 1st Summit Bank; Vice President of Cambria Alliance Emergency Medical Services; President of Sunnehanna Country Club; Member of Sunnehanna Amateur Committee; served several terms as Board of Director at Summit Country Club; member of the Board of Directors CIS Laurel Highlands 2001-09 (Board Chair 2008-09) member of the Board of Trustees of Mount Aloysius College 1984-1993 and again in 2013 to present.
Robert Wise; COO
Robert Wise is the Chief Operating Officer for JENNMAR. He joined the JENNMAR team in 2012 and is responsible for all US JENNMAR manufacturing plants. He has a total of 37 years experience in the mining, civil and manufacturing industries and graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Mining Engineering in May 1981.
Tim Maziarz; CFO
Tim Maziarz, Chief Financial Officer, joined FCI Group in August of 2004. Prior to joining the FCI Group, he worked for Ernst & Young LLP in Pittsburgh from 1995 to 2004, and served as a Senior Manager on various middle market and multinational clients in the manufacturing and construction industries. Tim graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Rodney Poland; Vice President Sales and Technical Resources
Rodney , Vice President Sales and Technical Resources is responsible for US sales, budgeting, sales forecasting, and coordinating underground mine technical services. He joined JENNMAR in 2000, initially as a Sales Engineer, and then was promoted to Regional Technical Sales Manager. Prior to JENNMAR, Rodney held various positions within Consolidated Coal Company from 1981 – 1997. Rodney earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering in from West Virginia University and a MBA from Waynesburg College.
Rodney is on the Board of Directors for West Virginia Coal Association, West Virginia Coal Mining Institute, and Christian Help, Inc.
Joe Piazza Jr.; Vice President Purchasing
Joe Piazza Jr. is Vice President of Purchasing for Frank Calandra, Inc. Joe joined JENNMAR over 9 years ago. He served in the role of Director of Purchasing/Sales Manager in Cleveland for 5 years, for our affiliate company JM Steel. Joe relocated to the corporate office 2 years ago for his most recent role as Assistant Vice President of Purchasing.
Over these past years he has built and maintained close relationships with several steel mill suppliers and will continue to grow steel supplies and opportunities. Joe received his Finance degree with a minor in Accounting from Bowling Green State University.
Renee Radvansky; Corporate Human Resources Director
Renee Radvansky is the Corporate HR Director for Frank Calandra Inc. and Subsidiaries, managing the Human Resources and domestic Payroll departments. A graduate of MSB Business School in Pittsburgh, she worked for several organizations owned by the Rangos family before being hired by Frank Calandra Inc. in 1985. During her tenure with the Company and while moving through the ranks, she has worked closely with the Calandra family, finance, engineering and operations departments before transferring to Human Resources in 2008. She assumed the Director position in January 2018.
James Pfeifer; General Counsel
James Pfeifer is the General Counsel of Frank Calandra, Inc. and its subsidiaries. James joined FCI in 2014. He is responsible for the companies’ day-to-day legal matters, manages the companies’ intellectual property portfolio, and oversees all M&A activity. He received a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and a JD from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. Before joining FCI, he worked as a litigation associate at McGuireWoods, LLP and Pepper Hamilton, LLP.
John Stankus, PhD ; President Keystone Mining Services
John is President of Keystone Mining Services (KMS), a JENNMAR subsidiary that carries out JENNMAR's R&D program in addition to providing advanced ground control engineering services to the coal, hard rock, civil and tunneling industries. John joined JENNMAR in 1988 as a Mining Engineer and was promoted to Vice-President of Engineering in 1992. John earned his BS and MS degrees in Mining Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a PhD in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University.
